Save Your Breath, Buy a Shirt

At some point in your life, you realize that arguing with a wall only leaves you with bloody knuckles.
We’ve all been there. You bring receipts. You pull out the data, the logic, the undeniable, cold-hard facts. You lay it all out neatly, thinking reason will carry the day. And what happens? The person across from you blinks, digs their heels in deeper, and doubles down on nonsense. It’s like trying to teach a pig to sing—it wastes your time and annoys the pig.
Mark Twain nailed this over a century ago, and honestly, humanity hasn’t evolved an inch since.
“No amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot.”
It’s brutal, it’s petty, and it’s absolute gospel. Once someone has decided that their ego matters more than reality, the debate is already over. You can’t logic someone out of a position they didn’t logic themselves into in the first place.
I put this design together with the vintage ink bottle and fountain pen because there’s something timeless about a classic literary burn. Twain didn’t hide behind polite corporate buzzwords, and neither should you.
Consider this shirt your official early-exit pass from pointless conversations. Next time someone wants to argue about flat-out absurdities, you don’t need to raise your voice. Just point to the chest, take a sip of your coffee, and let Twain do the talking.
